Flying start to the North Melbourne Cricket Club Junior Development Squad 2007 The Junior Development Squad organised by Gary Robertson and his committee consisting of Daniel Trevillian, Cameron Richardson, Peter Herrick, Steve Atkins and Delmer Achilles held a highly successful series of coaching sessions with over 50 boys in attendance.
The Squad Training sessions were held at the Western Region Cricket Centre and was very well supported by a number of senior players who gave up their time to pass on valuable advice to the squad.
Gary Robertson explained to the parents about the program and presented each attendee with a blue “North Melbourne Junior Development Squad 2007 Tee shirt, it was truly a great sight to see a mass of “North Melbourne blue” at the indoor cricket centre.
The highlight of the sessions was that each kid being videoed by Steve Atkins who did an excellent job providing feedback and conducting a one on one analysis on their batting.
The success of this program was largely due to a fantastic team effort, the Junior Development committee wishes to thank the following who should be commended for displaying their loyalty, and for demonstrating their passion and commitment towards the North Melbourne Cricket Club.
